Maple gives a very good sustain but can be extremely heavy, not recommended for long gigs! Mahogany gives a good warm tone and looks good under clear lacquer. Ash is nice and light and clean sound.

What neck wood do you want?
What scale length do you want ? ( Standard is 25.5" like a Strat )
